How do YOU use Go iLawn / Go iPave?

We often talk about our Go iLawn / Go iPave software as a tool to help you Measure, Bid, and Win more jobs. But we think that’s only part of the story.

When I talk to our customers, they usually tell me they use Go iLawn / Go iPave for one or more of the following three things:

  1. Pre-Sales Assessment – Using our measurement tools to produce the data they need to create a complete and accurate quote for service.
  2. Sales Process – Using our imagery, drawing, grouping, and sorting tools to present information to their customers while selling.
  3. Operations – Creating a detailed Property Map of a jobsite and using it as a visual aid to help crews understand the scope and process for doing work on the site.

And sometimes I’ll hear about inventive ways people use us in their Billing… Staffing… Material Ordering… or other applications.

I think almost everyone who uses our software, does use it in the pre-sales process. But I also think many of them have barely scratched the surface of what they could be doing. These users could get even more value from our software by using it across more of their business.

    Yes Joe, we Look First ! We pre qualify the property. We differentiate during the sale by showing the property representative exactly what we intend to do if awarded the work. And once we’ve Won the Work we show our operations the same scope of service we promised the customer !
    So we Look First, Show the Difference and then Handoff the details ! This is the highest ROI of any tool we use to run our business.

      Thanks Mike. You make a great point about the Sales process… Go iLawn / Go iPave helps you differentiate your bid from your competitors. Using our imagery SHOWS the customer what you’ll do. Even a huge written proposal can’t convey this as effectively as a worksite diagram created with our software.

    Hi,
    I have written in the past about your pricing. It is way too high! You should offer a smaller fee so you can market to the masses. Maybe a monthly subscription. But your prices are extreme. I do think your graphics are nice but do you realize Google Earth Pro is FREE. I can do the exact same thing as your program again for FREE!

      Terry, Thanks for writing. I’ve heard the price objection before, and I ask you this… You KNOW what Go iLawn costs, but do you know what it costs you to use a “FREE” tool? If you say $0, you’re lying to yourself.

      As for the getting the “exact same thing” from Google, it’s simply not true. Our drawing tools are better. Our imagery is better. Our ability to save your work is better. Our grouping and organizing tools are better. Our parcel and property reports are better Etc…. And we have free tech support.

      You can use an inferior tool in an attempt to save money, but you’ll lose efficiency. You’ll end up spending more time, getting less accurate results, and redoing the same work later. The only thing you like about Google is that it’s “FREE”, but do you know what “FREE” costs? Think about this: http://goitalk.com/the-cost-of-free/
