Go iLawn Donates $25,000 to PLANET Academic Excellence Foundation

On behalf of the Go iLawn team, I’m pleased to share that we donated $25,000 to the PLANET Academic Excellence Foundation (AEF) at the Green Industry Conference in Louisville last week.

This raises our CEO Mike Rorie’s contribution to the scholarship fund to $50,000, qualifying him as a Platinum Ambassador to the program. Mike previously donated $25,000 to AEF as the owner of GroundMasters, Inc.

Along with Mike, myself and the rest of the Go iLawn team would like to thank our customers for helping us with this donation. Without their continued business and support of our product we wouldn’t be able to help the green industry’s next generation achieve their personal and professional goals in such a way.

According to their website, PLANET AEF  is a non-profit foundation that provides academic scholarships to promising students aspiring to be landscape industry professionals. Since its inception, PLANET AEF has provided scholarships for 720 students in the amount of more than $730,000. If you are interested in donating to PLANET AEF, they accept donations of any amount.
